First Round Completed, Moving Forward

The first leg has come and gone. After taking home 5th place and holding a 3-2 record, we are currently sitting at 13 points for the series.

We started the day in pool stages where we were placed with Philadelphia U and Susquehanna U. We were able to take a 4 try lead to beat Philly U, and just a short hour later we were on the pitch again to play Susquehanna. We were not able to pull out the win, but that doesn't take away from the fight we put up to the team that took first place. We came out of the pool stages 1-1 putting us second place and in the championship bracket.

We then took the field against F&M, coming right out of the gate we scored on the kick off. After losing a little momentum, we could not hold a lead and lost 28-21 at the whistle. This took us out of the championship bracket and put us up for the plate, from here we played Neumann and the Holy Family, winning both games to take 5th place overall.

This weekend we travel out to Franklin & Marshall to take part in the NSCRO qualifiers and EPRU 7's series. The 1st place team will take the bid to play in the National Finals at PPL Park in Philly, in conjunction with the CRC 7's June 4th and 5th. We start the day in the pool stages again, this time with Susquehanna and Kings. Pool games to be played at 10am and 12:40pm.
